Logicate
My computer science coursework project, a web app that teaches students how to create logic circuits.
This project was concluded of February of 2025 as part of my A-Level Computer Science Coursework project.
Planning
Due to this project being a coursework project, we had a strict structure to follow. This meant planning our project before starting writing any code. Just before we finished Year 12, we confirmed our projects with out teacher. I knew that I wanted to challenge myself as I had lots of experience with different programming languages. My original project idea was a quiz website with an auto-marking feature (partly using AI), teams, and events. My teacher however, did not allow this project as he believed it was too easy for me. He therefore suggested a project which might even benefit the school if it was completed: A logic gate simulator with assignments, classrooms, and teacher management systems.
